Starting this Friday, February 17, 2017 with the opening of the 63rd Annual Ford Indianapolis Boat, Sport and Travel Show, WildIndiana will be broadcasting video segments live from the show floor.

From our booth studio in Tackletown in the Blue Ribbon Pavilion, WildIndiana will be airing live segments several times daily with guests ranging from seminar speakers, outdoor personalities, show exhibitors, DNR experts to even folks from the crowd!

The video stream can be seen on the WildIndiana Facebook page at Facebook.com/WildIndiana or on our website at http://www.wildindiana.com/video. You can also check WildIndiana.com throughout the day as a red banner will be automatically placed on the top of the screen whenever the video stream is live.

This move to the hottest 21st century media platform is made possible thanks to a partnership with Renfro Productions, the long-time owners of the Boat, Sport and Travel Show since the early 1960’s. Renfro understands that live streaming video is the next major step forward in outdoor journalism and has opted to embrace this technology that will enhance how visitors interact with the venerable sports show and the outdoor world in general.

Final schedules are still being negotiated at this moment but rest assured that during the Boat, Sport and Travel Show, WildIndiana will continue to lead the Indiana’s outdoor community with hard-hitting segments that provide useful information while highlighting the movers and shakers of the outdoor industry in our state.

The entire staff of WildIndiana has been involved in this effort and there is both hope and anxiety as we approach the opening of this “high point of the Hoosier outdoor calendar.” We’ll be there, live without a net, bringing you the latest from this hallowed Hoosier tradition.
