If you checked out WildIndiana.com today, you might have noticed something is a little different.
Starting today, January 2, 2018, we are making another round of improvements to better serve our audience. While most of the changes are “back-end” technical stuff, the reader will see some immediate improvements on our already-fast and comprehensive website.
The most noticeable difference is our front page.
As the majority of readers now come to WildIndiana through a mobile device (phone or tablet), we have revised the front page to load easier and faster. It is also designed to offer a much simpler navigation experience so you can find the content you want without wading through too many of WildIndiana’s nearly 2400 articles and over 2500 individual images.
Don’t worry, though. Everything is still present on the site and can easily be found using previously saved links or our search function.
You’ll also undoubtedly see some new and exciting features as we work all of the inevitable kinks out of this changeover and discover additional functionality that is waiting within our updated computer code.
Because this renovation must be done “on the fly” (while the site is live), you might notice some occasional strange computer codes, broken links that pop up or even the site being unavailable for very short periods of time. We hope you’ll pardon our dust as we renovate and renew Indiana’s best outdoor website!
