Be careful if you go swimming- there is a monster in Hardy Lake in southern Indiana.
According to television station WHAS-11 in Louisville, swimmers in Hardy Lake have been repeatedly attacked by something in the water. The critter leaves visible marks on the legs of it’s victims but so far no one has reported serious injury.
The lake has posted signs warning swimmers of the danger. The best guess of Indiana Department of Natural Resources officials is that the creature is a large catfish aggressively protecting it’s nest.
