OH #$%(@!!, a lion!
On the heels of Indiana’s confirmation of a mountain lion in Greene County, we read with huge interest that the Michigan Department of Natural Resources has just confirmed a cougar in the upper peninsula for the seven time in the last 2 1/2 years.
Why is this so newsworthy for WildIndiana.com?
When we searched the internet for the town (Wallace) where the mountain lion was captured on a trail camera May 26, it turns the discovery was literally where we were fishing last week. We use a ramp on the Wisconsin side of the Menominee river, but spent several days blithely puttering around the area of the big cat.
Hmmmm….and I though my buddy ate all that jerky left in the bed of the truck.
