This just in: The Beaver is changing its name.
The magazine, Canada’s second oldest-publication, was published by the Hudson Bay Company and is designed to honor the company’s roots as a fur-trading concern. The magazine is now published by the Canadian National History Society
Unfortunately, with the changing face of the internet, the editors of the magazine have realized that their name is a problem when dealing with search engines and and content filters. Therefore, with the May issue, the magazine will become Canada History.
If you don’t understand why they are making the change, try using a search engine to find the magazine’s website.
