As is typical for unreconstructed romantics masqurading as outdoor writers, the Christmas season serves as enormous inspiration to share tales of hope, reflection and thankfulness along with the occasional story of dogs crashing into Christmas trees (see here).   So we will take this occasion  to present a few holiday-themed stories that celebrate the season.
