Thank you for stopping by the new WildIndiana.com. This website showcases the outdoor misfortunes of long-time Indiana outdoor writer Brent T. Wheat. Through his 18-year run of Out In The Open newspaper columns and other media projects, tens of thousands of Hoosier readers have shared every emotion from laughter to tears while rambling the wild lands of Indiana and beyond.
WildIndiana.com has been around for over a decade in various forms. For the past two years it has been part of the IndianaOutdoorNews.net family of publications. Now, it returns as a stand-alone portal for the best of Out In The Open mixed with Brent’s daily observations, thoughts and stories that make up the Wildblog.
So, as we’ve said for many years, fasten your seat belts, keep your hands and arms inside the website at all times and remain seated until we come to a full and complete stop.
Hopefully, that will be in another 18 or so years.
