Get up close and personal with slithering serpents at the Brown County State Park Snake Fest, July 21.
Educational booths will be set up in the Friends Shelter at the Nature Center from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The booths will focus on many different snake species, and programs throughout the day will feature live animals.
At 6 p.m., there will be a concert in the Nature Center Amphitheater. Admission to the concert will cost $5. Three bands will be playing: Alexander Lee and Thee Vatos Supreme, Piney Woods Blues Party featuring HotRod Horns, and Moe Z Starr.
Park admission during the event is $7 per vehicle for in-state residents and $9 per vehicle for out-of-state residents.
