Enjoy a glimpse of the galaxy at Summit Lake State Park, July 14.
The activity will be led by expert stargazers Steve and Debbie Russel. Stargazing starts at sunset. Participants will meet at the end of campground loop A.
A telescope will be available for viewing as well as binoculars. No white flashlights or cell phones are allowed because they eliminate the night vision of everyone nearby.
Participation is free and open to everyone after the standard gate fee of $7 per in-state vehicle and $9 per out-of-state vehicle.
